Our Trip

As many of you know we are going on a long trip. Well I guess we cant really call it a trip, a trip is something you go on for a certain amount of time and then come home again. We really don't know how long we will be gone. We bought a trailer and are down sizing a lot!!! We are putting our stuff (well the stuff we have left) into storage and hitting the road! We are very excited about it. We already home school so that's not a problem.
I know some of our family think we are crazy but that's ok because they thought we were crazy before all this. :)
We will keep up with this blog daily and let everybody know where we are and how we are doing. We love God so we will be spreading His word where ever we go.
We will take lots and lots of pictures to share our journey with you! I am planning to paint our trailer soon. I will take some before and after pictures to share. We are officially hitting the road March 30th!!! We have so much to do! We are planning to make our way down to Texas first, hitting all the states on the way down doing as much as possible. We have to be in Big Sandy Texas by April 23rd for a homeschool convention and for the boys' Alert Academy. then we will slowly make our way to Kentucky to see the Creation Museum. We really don't have an itinerary. We tried to sit down with all the kids and write out specific places but it just didn't work so we decided as a family we will go wherever God takes us! I will get back with you soon with pictures of everything. God Bless!!!!

  3. Hi Ruth!
We are also getting so excited specially the closer it gets. Do you have a blog we can follow? How old are your children?

  4. We do not have a blog yet, though I would like to if I get the time. Our children are ages 8,9,11, and 13. The oldest and youngest are boys, girls in between.
I was wondering, are you planning to do as much "school" on the road as you normally would? It's something I've been debating in my mind recently.
